Minimum Requirements

Applicants for the Unitrans Ultra-heavy Motor Vehicle Driver job must meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 / National Certificate

  • Valid Code EC (Code 14) driver’s licence

  • Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)

  • Minimum of three years’ experience driving ultra-heavy vehicles

  • Minimum of three years’ experience driving superlink, interlink, or combination vehicles

  • Clean criminal record

  • Medically fit

  • Own reliable transport to and from work

  • Willingness to work weekends and public holidays
