Additional Requirements

To qualify for the SAPS Social Workers posts, applicants must also have:

  • An applicable three-year Degree in Social Work, SAQA-accredited at NQF Level 7 or higher

  • Current registration as a Social Worker with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) for the 2024/2025 financial year, with proof

  • Ability to function effectively in a multi-disciplinary team

  • Experience in facilitation and presentations

  • Supervision or management experience (advantageous)
