Management Echelon Positions

Position 1: Chief Financial Officer

Reference: HO/CFO/052025
Salary: R1,436,022 per annum (Level 14, all-inclusive, SMS structure)
Location: Head Office, Pietermaritzburg

Requirements:

  • NQF Level 7 post-qualification in Financial or Business Management/Administration
  • 5 years relevant senior management experience in commercial finance/operational environment
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
  • Valid driver’s license
  • SMS Pre-entry (Nyukela) Certificate (submit prior to appointment)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial information response mechanisms
  • Provide technical advice to Accounting Officer
  • Ensure effective and economical utilization of departmental financial resources and assets
  • Manage Supply Chain Management systems ensuring good governance and value for money
  • Manage construction procurement services and Internal Control
